what we believe.

Our desire is do church different. Maybe you have experienced church that was boring or stuffy. We hope to help you re-think church and be energized about your relationship with God and God’s people.

  At Grace WE BELIEVE….

>>>everyone needs Jesus and Everyone is our responsibility<<<

  • God has a plan and purpose for ALL people. It is our job, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to help people discover that plan. This happens through restoration, connection and service.
  • Churches should grow because God loves everyone and wants every person to experience the joy, peace, and power of living in relationship with him.
  • People need a community of grace for their spiritual journey—a place where they are loved and accepted before they ever clean up or straighten up.
  • People need a place where it’s okay to be real with their struggles, where they don’t have to pretend that they are more spiritual than they are, and where they can confess their doubts without fear, knowing they are loved unconditionally.
  • The Bible is very specific about our mission as Christians—we are to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Changing the world starts with changing our community
  • That worship should be uplifting, inspiring, and life-changing.
  • That the message of Jesus Christ is good news.
  • That church is not about a building. The church is the body of believers who gather together to celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ and to change the world.
  • That there is hope for everyone.
  • That sermons should be relevant, practical, and understandable.
  • That everyone should be warmly welcomed.
  • That no one should have to wear a name tag and that guests shouldn’t be embarrassed in any way.
  • In great worship for children.
  • That the name on the door and the denominational affiliation of a church matters much less than the heart and spirit of the people.
  • That all Christian churches should cooperate for the good of the community and world.
  • In compassion.
  • In having fun.
  • In the power of music.
  • That all people are created with the potential to change the world as they discover their life purpose.
  • That mission begins in our local community.
  • That churches should care more about people than about money.
  • That people desire authentic relationships with other Christians and that these relationships are best discovered in a small group.
  • That sacred space is wherever Christians gather to worship God.

>>>>We don’t believe in spending a lot of time debating non-essential beliefs. We consider non-essential those beliefs that are not directly related to salvation and growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ.                                 Our essential beliefs are described in the Apostles Creed.<<<<

Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

 born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate;

was crucified, died and was buried.

The third day He rose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of

God the Father Almighty.

From there, He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting.
